Boymongoose worked a variety of odd jobs in India before settling on a serious career as a pop singer. In 2004, he founded an Indian boy band to unleash his unique brand of music on the world and found notoriety after crashing one of London's premier Carols in the Park events. Although he uses an enormous amount of hairspray, Boymongoose still manages to write coherent songs with a focus on arranged marriages, cyber-dating, in-laws, being single and other themes from his colorful life.

Born in the South of India but raised down under, Ashwin took up drums at age 14 to save from getting beaten up at boarding school. Spending lunch-times alone in the music room, he also developed an interest in writing, which he now contributes to the Boymongoose band along with the occasional drumming (where Av hasn't programmed it in with his precious Roland). Ashwin met Boymongoose amongst a group of Indians in 2003 (where they bonded over a game of Badminton) and has been with them for over a year now.

Forced to play piano and computer games at age 5, life as a music programmer was pretty much a given. Av took out a range of prestigious 'encouragement awards' in his years behind the piano and now has enough self esteem to pen his own compositions. The I.T force behind the group's rock and pop ballads, Avin has been told he looks like an Indian Pete Sampras.

A keen student of pop music, Jay brings an uncanny ability to find the inner cheese in any song. With an arsenal of power chords, R and B rip offs, and dramatic glam leads, no melody is safe from his unique talent. He also has a great love of ice hockey, but in 24 years has never bothered to learn how to skate. Due to an animation budget blowout, we were unable to provide him with eyebrows.
